The lads have worked extremely well with our teams on site, constructing the scaffold in a safe, timely and efficient manner. From my perspective, their safe working practices, flexibility and attention to detail are much appreciated. Bee Jay Scaffolding are working with Fortem Windows and Homes Together replacing windows on 60 occupied houses and flats and installing double glazing to create warmer, more energy efficient homes for these residents in Halifax. Bee Jays are delighted to be involved in this project making a real difference to the community, the residents and their homes.

The site is at Derwenthorpe at York, 40 units, very technical, not like a normal box at all. Scaffolding wise it’s been a challenge, trial and error. Luckily, I’ve good a very good supervisor from Bee Jays, Stevie Duckworth and we’ve been working together very well actually. Weve been solving all the problems with the scaffolding on these plots. Bee Jays offer a fantastic service. Stevie is always at the other end of the phone and he always answers. When I have questions he always answers them as well and I think we’ve built a up a really good working relationship.

Brian at Bee Jays is a great supervisor very helpful with our demanding programme as we do get busy. He makes sure lads have what kit they need and is always on the end of the phone to sort any issues. On site often to check the lads’ work and stay on top of them.

I’m a packaging and completions manager. Weve had Bee Jays on site for approximately 10 weeks. In that time they’ve been shown to be reliable and consistent in the work that they do and have very safe practices. We have a lot of work that we need to work with them and they’re great at collaborative work. We have a lot of changes to jobs which require sometimes to be in at weekends or lates to work round what we’re doing and they’ve been fantastic at doing that.
The guy that we have on site, called Eddie, has been great. He goes through the scaffold every week checking the tags are ok, making sure the shop floor is clean and tidy from Scaffold equipment. They’ve just been a great team to work with and we hope to keep working with them in the future.
I’ve been working with Bee Jays for the last 18 months. By Far the best scaffolding company I have ever worked with. Very efficient at what they do, keep to the build programmes, offer more men and support when required, great levels of communication- an all round fantastic contractor.

Weve been on site for 18 months now working with Bee Jays doing our scaffolding. Weve currently got Danny and Wayne here who are great lads, quick and safe. Weve had no complaints and everyone else on site likes them. Duckie ( Stephen Duckworth) is always helping me out when I ring him, he comes down with whatever I need, whether its hoist or scaffold, he always comes to sort it. Happy with the lads on site, all good!

I work for Evans Homes in Tockwith on a development of 130 homes. I have been working with Bee Jays for 14 months and we found them very good, very accommodating, they work well and the communication is good. If I have any health and safety issues, they’re very quick to rectify it. I’ve only got good things to say about them.

The supervisors are on top of everything, and the scaffolders arrive on time and with the correct attitude to work with us and get the job done.
Inspections and handovers arrive on time and surplus gear is taken away quickly to keep the site clean and tidy.
