Whilst we operate with many major home builders and experienced tradespeople who have worked with scaffolding companies for many years, we understand that many people who are completing work on their own homes are new to the industry and may have questions. Here we answer some frequently asked questions about scaffolding.
FAQ
Costs associated with scaffolding rental or installation can vary depending on factors such as the size of the project, duration of use, type of scaffolding needed, and location. Local councils may require permits to erect scaffold which we will always arrange for you ahead of the scaffold installation. We strive to be competitive with our prices and are always happy to discuss with you in detail more about the service we are providing when we quote for a project.
At Bee Jay Scaffolding nothing is more important to us than safety. If we cannot do it safely then we won’t do it all. As proud members of NASC, the body responsible for setting safety standards in the industry, we are meticulous in our codes of conduct on projects of all sizes. We put our reputation for being a safe scaffolding company at the heart of all we do, ensuring we create a safe working environment for all.
The length of time taken is dependent on the size and nature of a job. Smaller projects can be erected in a day but high rise or more complex structures may take weeks or months and be an integral part of the building work as it progresses. Delicate projects such as work on historic buildings may require more time, but Bee Jays always work as efficiently as we can within the safety parameters we adhere to.
We follow stringent processes within the safety and compliance guidelines set by industry best practices and governing standards and scaffold inspections and handovers are conducted meticulously. Bee Jays are NASC compliant and its worth noting that organisations who are NASC members have a higher industry safety record than the organisations who are not part of this governing body. NASC work hard to protect both the workers and members of the public with its membership requirements and standards making Bee Jays the SAFE company of choice for scaffolding installations.
In all kinds of work outdoors there is a chance that works will be impacted by the weather, however as long as the work can be done properly and safely our hard working ethos is to ‘crack on with the job’. We understand that timescales are important to our clients and often scaffolding is integral to any work being completed and therefore we take our job seriously and get the job done, rain or shine!
Each project will be assigned a regular team of knowledgeable scaffolders, and each team will have a supervisor you can reach with any questions or change requirements. Additionally, we have a well manned head office with friendly staff ready to help with any questions you might have whilst scaffold is in place. Customer service is very important to us and we want to provide an excellent service, every time.
